Records, new masters, and a trip to France: results of the Belarusian Finswimming Championships
On April 18–19, 2026, the swimming pool of the "Olympic" Sports Complex hosted the Finswimming Championship of the Republic of Belarus. The event was organized by the SDUSTS for Water Sports DOSAAF and the Belarusian Federation of Underwater Sport.
The championship brought together 6 teams and 80 athletes:
- SDUSTS for Water Sports DOSAAF
- Novopolotsk SDUSTS DOSAAF
- JSOC "Water Brothers" Sports Club
- "OCTOPUS", RS of Minsk city and Minsk region DOSAAF
- NGO "BFPS" (Belarusian Federation of Underwater Sport)
- Finstream (Novopolotsk)
The championship aimed to determine the strongest athletes, select the national team of the Republic of Belarus, achieve classification standards, improve athletic performance, popularize underwater sports, and engage citizens in activities.
Opening Ceremony
The grand opening ceremony began with an important presentation: Ilya Suvorov, an athlete from the SDUSTS for Water Sports DOSAAF, was awarded the certificate and badge for the sports title of "Candidate for Master of Sports" (CMS).

From April 24 to 26, 2026, athletes from the national team of the Republic of Belarus will compete in the French city of Aix-en-Provence:
